3 DAYS UGANDA GORILLA TREKKING.

 Day 1: Transfer from Mbarara to Kabale

We will arrange for you very convenient means of transport from Mbarara early in the morning and begin the scenic drive south to Kabale town. This 2.5 hour drive offers breathtaking views of terraced hills, banana plantations, and the rolling countryside of southwestern Uganda. Upon arrival in Kabale, you’ll check in at your Hotel, a comfortable and centrally located hotel ideal for a stopover before your gorilla adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Return to Kabale

After an early breakfast, depart Kabale for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The drive takes approximately 1.5. Upon arrival at the park headquarters, you’ll attend a mandatory briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, who will assign you to a specific gorilla group and guide. The trekking itself can take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements and your group’s pace. Once you locate the gorillas, you’ll have one magical hour to quietly observe them in their natural setting watching them feed, play, and interact within their family unit.

After the trek, enjoy your packed lunch amidst the forest or on the return route, then transfer back to Kabale in the late afternoon. Freshen up and unwind at the hotel, reflecting on the incredible experience.

Day 3: Return to Mbarara 

3 DAYS UGANDA GORILLA TREKKING. After breakfast and check-out, We will arrange for you your transportation means and you will begin your return journey to Mbarara, retracing the scenic route through the Kigezi highlands. Arrival in Mbarara marks the end of your safari experience.
