After breakfast in Kigali, you will travel approximately 2 to 3 hours to Volcanoes National Park, renowned worldwide for its mountain gorilla population. Upon arrival, a briefing will prepare you for the exciting gorilla trek scheduled for the following day. Alternatively, you may choose a guided nature walk to absorb the park’s stunning flora and fauna. Your first night is spent at Isange Paradise Resort, where full board meals ensure comfort and relaxation after your journey.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Begin your day early with an exhilarating gorilla trek led by expert rangers through the dense, emerald forests of Volcanoes National Park. Spend an unforgettable hour observing a habituated family of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After this remarkable experience and a hearty lunch, depart for a 3 to 4-hour journey to Uganda’s Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, crossing the international border en route. Settle into Mgahinga Gorilla View Lodge for dinner and a restful night.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking and Return to Kigali

Following breakfast, embark on a guided trek to see the rare golden monkeys of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Arrive in Kigali in the evening where your tour concludes with drop-off either at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
