Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before setting off to Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda, for your first gorilla trekking experience. After a briefing at the park headquarters, guides will lead you into the dense rainforest to track a habituated gorilla family. The trek may last 2–5 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location.

After an unforgettable hour observing these majestic creatures, you will enjoy a boxed lunch before starting the scenic drive across the border into Uganda, heading towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The drive is approximately 5–6 hours, passing through rolling hills, local villages, and beautiful landscapes. Check into your Lodge for the evening, where you can relax and reflect on your unique wildlife encounter.

Begin your day early with breakfast at the lodge, then proceed to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters for another gorilla trekking adventure. Bwindi is home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorilla population, and trekking here is a truly magical experience.

Your trek will last 2–6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Spend one hour observing the gorillas in their natural environment, photographing their behavior, and learning from your guide about their social structure and conservation efforts.

Return to your Lodge in Bwindi in the late afternoon for a luxurious evening of relaxation.
