Detailed Itinerary
Your safari begins in Dar es Salaam, where you will be transferred from Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve also known as Nyerere National Park by road (approx. 5–6 hours) or optional light aircraft flight for a shorter transfer. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge before heading out on an afternoon boat safari along the Rufiji River. This riverine adventure offers a unique opportunity to spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants coming to drink, and abundant birdlife including fish eagles and kingfishers. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the vast wilderness of Selous, Africa’s largest game reserve.
