Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–3 hours). Famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire also provides excellent sightings of giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards. The Tarangire River acts as a magnet for wildlife, especially during the dry season. After a game drive, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer from Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred from Tarangire to Serengeti National Park (approx. 6 hours). Travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands with a stop at the crater rim for breathtaking views. Enter Serengeti, Tanzania’s most famous park, for your first afternoon game drive across the endless plains. Look out for lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest, and zebras before heading to your lodge in the heart of Serengeti.

Day 3: Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Begin your day with a sunrise game drive in Serengeti, an ideal time to spot predators on the move. After breakfast, continue exploring before being transferred from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 4–5 hours). In the afternoon, descend into the crater for a thrilling game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often called “Africa’s Garden of Eden” and is one of the best places to see the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. Overnight on the crater rim with stunning views.

Day 4: Transfer from Ngorongoro to Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning overlooking the crater before being transferred from Ngorongoro to Arusha (approx. 3–4 hours).
