Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Lake Natron

Your safari begins with a morning transfer from Arusha to Lake Natron (approx. 5–6 hours). Lake Natron is famous for its flamingo populations and striking red-colored alkaline waters. On arrival, enjoy a late afternoon walk to see the flamingos and dramatic views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the “Mountain of God.” Overnight in a lodge or camp near the lake.

Day 2: Lake Natron Exploration and Transfer to Serengeti

After breakfast, embark on a guided trek to explore the surrounding area, visiting Maasai villages and learning about traditional lifestyles. Later, you will be transferred from Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park (approx. 6–7 hours). Enter the Serengeti for your first game drive across the iconic plains, spotting lions, elephants, zebras, and wildebeest. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge in the central Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the day in Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. Picnic lunch in the park allows more time to explore the plains. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 4–5 hours). Descend into the crater for a half-day safari in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its dense concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and zebras. In the evening, enjoy sunset views from your lodge on the crater rim.

This marks the conclusion of your 5-day adventure.
