Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins after breakfast in Arusha, where you will meet your private safari guide. You will be transferred from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–3 hours). Famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire also offers chances to see lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before checking in at your lodge overlooking the Tarangire River.

Day 2: Transfer from Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred from Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2 hours). This picturesque park lies along the Rift Valley escarpment and is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, elephant herds, and pink-hued flocks of flamingos. On your afternoon game drive, you may also see hippos, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge with stunning views of the Great Rift Valley.

Day 3: Transfer from Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you will be transferred from Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park (approx. 5–6 hours). The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands with a stop at the Ngorongoro Crater rim for spectacular views. Enter the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive across its endless plains, where lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and elephants roam freely. Spend the night at your lodge deep in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when predators are most active. After breakfast, continue your journey and be transferred from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a half-day safari. This natural amphitheater hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five, hyenas, hippos, wildebeest, and flamingos. In the evening, transfer to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and spectacular sunset views.

Day 5: Transfer from Ngorongoro to Arusha

After breakfast, you will be transferred from Ngorongoro to Arusha (approx. 3–4 hours). This marks the end of your unforgettable 5-day private safari.
