Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airstrip. The flight takes approximately 1–1.5 hours and offers stunning aerial views of Uganda’s rolling hills, forests, and volcanic peaks.

Upon arrival in Kisoro, you will be transferred to Gorilla Leisure Lodge, a comfortable mid-range lodge with cozy accommodations and a serene environment perfect for relaxing before your gorilla trekking adventure. Spend the afternoon at leisure, enjoying the lodge’s facilities and the breathtaking scenery.

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for your gorilla trekking adventure. After a briefing at the park headquarters, guides and trackers will lead you into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

The trek duration varies depending on the gorillas’ location, typically 2–6 hours. Once you find them, you will spend one hour observing these magnificent creatures, taking photos, and learning about their behavior and social structure.

After trekking, return to Gorilla Leisure Lodge for a relaxing evening. Enjoy the tranquil setting and reflect on your once-in-a-lifetime encounter.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kisoro Airstrip for your flight back to Kampala/Entebbe, which takes approximately 1–1.5 hours. Upon arrival, your safari concludes, and you will be dropped at your hotel in Kampala or at Entebbe International Airport for onward travel.
