Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where your driver-guide will warmly welcome you. Depending on your flight time, you may enjoy a short walk along the shores of Lake Victoria or relax at your lodge as you prepare for your safari.

Day 2: Rhino Tracking at Ziwa and Transfer to Murchison Falls.

In the morning, after breakfast, set off for a 4-5-hour river to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, you will take a guided walking safari to see rhinos in their natural habitat. Continue to the Lodge for your evening relaxation.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls

Enjoy an early morning game drive to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and possibly leopards. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of the falls, where hippos and crocodiles thrive. You may also choose an optional hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views.

Day 4: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest

Take a 4-5hour drive as you travel south through Ugandan villages, rolling hills, and tea plantations on your way to Kibale Forest. In the evening, enjoy a guided forest walk to see monkeys and birds.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will have a briefing about your trek and then begin the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. Spend time observing these lively primates in their natural home. After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening relaxation or a short game drive.

Day 6: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Through Ishasha

After breakfast, drive south through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions that lounge in giant fig trees. Continue your 5-hour drive journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, arriving in time to relax at your lodge ahead of the gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today is the highlight of your safari gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After a briefing, head into the forest with rangers to track a gorilla family. Once found, spend an unforgettable hour observing their behavior. Return to your lodge for rest.

Day 8: Transfer back to Entebbe

After breakfast, begin the long 9-hour but beautiful drive back to Entebbe. Enjoy views of hills, tea plantations, and local villages, with several stops for photos and refreshments along the way.

Day 9: Explore Entebbe and Departure

Spend your final morning exploring Entebbe at a relaxed pace. Visit the Botanical Gardens, shop at craft markets, or enjoy the shores of Lake Victoria. Later, transfer to the airport for your international departure.
